Carports offer vehicles and motorcycles protection from environmental elements that can cause damage such as the harsh Arizona sun and seasonal monsoon downpour. Metal corrugated carports offer great protection against both but are not always the most attractive solution. This solution is often engineered to using the cheapest and lightest of materials which bend and warp in high winds. Shade cloth may not be the best solution for rain protection, however, it does block up to 95 percent of the sun’s UV rays. Shade cloth carports make a great alternative to the metal carport, can be custom designed for any parking area or drive and are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Often carports have to be cantilevered over the area to avoid obstructions as a vehicle is pulled in. If you are shading multiple cars, we have the ability to cantilever one of our permanent umbrellas which fit up to a 20′ by 20′ area. This would make an excellent carport for any business or home adding an attractive look to the area.

Below is one of our custom carport parking areas designed by the architect “tenant” of the building. This carport has 8 connections for optimal shade and control of the flat shade material. Flat fabric is not often our first option, but when having to meet municipal fire and zoning codes we will work to meet them and achieve our primary goal of shade. Adding 4 center connections allows us to “float” this shade sail away from the building for fire code and control the tension of the material constantly.

Fabric on this project is Commercial 95 Steel Gray installed with all stainless hardware and chain.
